As a student member of IDA, you can enrol in various networks. These either serve the special interests of students or are geared to all IDA members.
If you are looking for knowledge and the right job, judicious use of IDA’s networks can make all the difference.
As a network participant, you will share your specialised interests with others - both students and qualified graduates who have begun work.
Activities at your college
A number of meetings and events will also be held at your place of study, providing you with tools for your studies and your future career, as well as giving you the opportunity to meet many of your fellow students.

IDA Young Professionals creates professional events like conferences, courses, walk-home meetings, company visits, study trips, lectures and much more. The events are for example arranged in collaboration with universities, companies and other IDA network. IDA Young Professionals plan around 20 events on a yearly basis – big as well as small – across the whole country.
IDA Young Professionals addresses newly graduated and students with a technical or general scientific background. Our board consists of young members, who all are students or newly graduates.

IDA's professional engineering networks
IDA's professional engineering networks are sector-specific, for example: IT, construction, energy and transport.
Network participants get together to attend events, to visit businesses and to hear lectures. These are opportunities for the exchange of experience and knowledge, for the formation of new ideas and for forging contacts with future employers.
As a student member of IDA, you can enrol in as many networks as you wish. Enrolment is non-binding and free of charge.
