If you want to resign, your notice to your employer is one month to the end of a month. For example: If you submit your resignation at the end of March you are expected to work throughout March and April.
There may be an mutually agreed extended period of notice in the employment contract, which in this case you have to respect.
If you resign before the end of a probationary period of max. 3 months, you have to give one day's notice. There may have been agreed longer notice period, typically 14 days.
A termination must be in writing. There are no legal requirements for the contents of a termination. It could look like this:
"(Submission date for the termination)
I hereby terminate my position for leaving on the (= date of expiry of the notice period).
